As production moves over to the Q3 model, Audi has announced that over 800 workers will be moved from the main base in Hungary temporarily. From the beginning of next year, over 500 people will move across to the vehicle plant in Bratislava whilst 300 will move to a different department (engine production).

As mentioned, this is only said to be temporary as the company looks to advance their plans for the Q3. Currently based in Gyor where cars and engines are both made, mass production of the Q3 is due to start in 2018.
