For over 100 years Weinig has been manufacturing and delivering woodworking machines, with its latest achievement being a further expansion of its sales market within Russia. Along with new products Weinig has increased performance, upgraded technology and implemented more flexible deliver to ensure that it will continue to deliver with Russia for many years to come. 

Weinig has already received some positive feedback from the 2018  Lesdrevmash, the  – woodworking trade fair, held in Russia in October 2018.

Speaking at Lesdrevmash, Gregor Baumbusch, Weinig’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Stressed that despite a dormant Russian market they would be able to utilize its potential, regardless of recent economic weaknesses in the country.

Indeed, the company registered good results in a time when there are difficulties within the Russian economy.  It remains the leading supplier of machinery and systems for the solid wood and panel processing industry.  It was predicted at the time that they may well expand their business within Russia, a prediction that has now come to pass.
