Ilim Timber the Russian manufacturer of plywood and producer of Sawn timber is upgrading its sawmill facilities at its Ust-Ilimsk branch in Russia. Ilim Timber is purchasing its sawmill technology from finnish manufacturer AriVislanda. The order is for frame saws with modern profiling equipment and the wood working machines are expected to be commissioned with in the first 6 months of 2021.

With the new woodworking machines Ilim Timber will be more efficient and produce better quality products, the Ilim Timber branch in Ust-Ilimsk specializes in the production of timber from pine and Siberian larch. The production capacity of the plant is approximately 600,000 m³ of sawn timber per year.
