Leroy Merlin recently celebrated the reopening of its first-ever Romanian store, located in the Colosseum area of Bucharest, following extensive renovations. Originally opened in September 2011, this store has been a flagship for the DIY chain in the Romanian market. According to the online service bricoretail.ro, Leroy Merlin is targeting an increase in customer footfall by 10 to 15% and a sales boost of 15 to 20% by the year 2024.

The remodel has expanded the store's total indoor and outdoor sales space to approximately 15,000 m², including a significantly enlarged drive-in area, now spanning 4,000 m². Notably, the store continued to operate and serve customers throughout the renovation period, demonstrating Leroy Merlin's commitment to uninterrupted customer service and enhancing the shopping experience.
