ZÁLESÍ a.s., a long-established industrial manufacturer based in Luhačovice, is making a major strategic investment to expand its packaging division. The company is allocating nearly 90 million CZK to install a new high-speed automated line dedicated to laminated tube production.
ZÁLESÍ a.s., a long-established industrial manufacturer based in Luhačovice, is making a major strategic investment to expand its packaging division. The company is allocating nearly 90 million CZK to install a new high-speed automated line dedicated to laminated tube production. This upgrade comes as existing production capacities are fully utilised and additional space is needed for new projects and clients.
The new SAESA 240 Swiss production technology, combined with an automated packing line, will increase output at the Obaly plant by 45 percent. It will also significantly improve manufacturing efficiency, flexibility and sustainability. Full-scale production on the new line is scheduled to begin in January 2026.
According to Ing. Josef Hampl, CEO and Chairman of the Board at ZÁLESÍ a.s., the laminated tube segment is a strategically important part of the company’s long-term growth.
“Demand in this product category has been rising steadily, and we continue to meet our business goals. It also helps us diversify beyond automotive, a sector facing many challenges in Europe,” said Hampl.
He noted that the new technology represents a major step forward:
“Compared to our existing equipment, the new line allows for a much larger production volume with the same staffing levels. Along with higher productivity, we also reduce downtime thanks to faster format and diameter changes. The line is more energy efficient and capable of processing innovative, environmentally friendly materials, which supports our sustainability objectives.”
The company Zálesí a.s. on the Czech market has a long tradition.

* The production of laminated tubes for cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food industry is one of the main fields. One component is the processing of graphic design and printing of laminated tubes and labels.
* Another area of activity is the manufacture of plastic parts. Specialization refers to the production of tubes and bottle caps, and technical parts for the automotive industry. Another part is the production of injection molds. The workers in our workshop to design the shape and geometry of the product process, process documentation, draw up the form and test them.
* Miteiner long tradition characterized the mechanical engineering production. The cooperation with leading Czech company introduced a progressive development of this activity at the present high technical level. The production runs on high-performance CNC machine tools.
All these manufacturing processes are ISO 9001 certified.
* Another activity of our company are tourist services. In the Luhačovice we operate two facilities in the *** category.

Certification
All main fields depend on the international standards of ISO quality control. The system of quality control was introduced in 1998. This system has its effectiveness for the mechanical engineering production, the production of polyethylene and laminated tubes, the print on the packaging film, the production of plastic products and manufacture of injection molds.
In March 2002 the company was successfully certified according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001. In October 2002 the new factory for the manufacture of automotive parts in accordance with ISO / TS 16949:2002 certified.
