Panasonic is excited to announce the successful acquisition of Area Cooling Solutions Sp. z o.o. in Poland. Effective immediately, the Condensing Units division located in Wrocław will now operate under the name Panasonic Cold Chain Poland Sp. z o.o. (Panasonic CCS). This strategic move reinforces Panasonic’s commitment to growth and innovation by expanding its ability to deliver sustainable, environmentally friendly refrigeration solutions to a broader customer base.

Under the new Panasonic CCS, production of the iCOOL series and other refrigeration condensing units will continue seamlessly, ensuring a steady supply of spare parts. Meanwhile, the Compressor and Component Distribution segment will remain independently managed by the existing operation in Warsaw.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Panasonic’s strategy to broaden its eco-friendly product range—including R744 (CO₂) and inverter condensing units—while enhancing its footprint in the commercial refrigeration sector. By integrating the Condensing Units business into Panasonic CCS, the company is well positioned to offer innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the evolving demands of the cold chain industry.
